National College for Teacher Education is proudly accredited by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). NSDC is a not-for-profit company established in 2008, working in partnership with the government and the private sector. The government owns 49% of NSDC, and the private sector owns the remaining 51%. NSDC’s main goal is to encourage the development of skills by supporting the creation of large, high-quality vocational institutions. They provide funding for vocational training programs and work on ensuring quality and support systems. NSDC acts as a catalyst by funding enterprises and organizations involved in skill training, and it collaborates with partners to develop effective models. With a focus on 37 sectors, NSDC makes each sector attractive for private investment, contributing significantly to skill development in the country.

About Rabindranath Tagore University

The National College for Teacher Education is proudly accredited by Rabindranath Tagore University, which happens to be India’s first skill-based private university.
